AI has come a long way — so far, in fact, that it can now write songs, paint portraits, answer your phone calls, and even replicate people. Including me.

But how good is it really?

We decided to turn this into a game. Below, you'll find two challenges: one involving images, one involving music. In each case, one option is made by a human, the other entirely by AI. Your mission: guess which one is which.

Think you can outsmart the algorithm?

Round 1: Real Chris or AI Chris?

Below are two images of me. One is a real photo. The other is fully AI-generated.

No filters. No Photoshop. Just one camera click… or one AI prompt.

Can you tell which one is the real me?

Image A:

AI Chris or Real Chris?

Image B:

Is this AI or real?

Which Image is AI generated?

  • Image A

  • Image B

Round 2: Human or AI – Music Edition

Now let’s put your ears to the test.

Below are two songs. One was written, arranged, and performed by a human musician. The other was created entirely by artificial intelligence — composed, sung, and mixed with no human intervention.

Can you hear the difference?

Song A:

Life-Is-Magic-Sample

Song B:

Lauren-Sample

Which Song is AI generated?

  • Song A

  • Song B

We will reveal the AI image and song next week, so stay tuned!

Now Imagine This AI Working in Your Municipal Government

If one of those fooled you — you’re not alone. And that’s the point. AI is now advanced enough that it can replicate human work convincingly. Which brings us to something far more practical: LSPS’s resident service bots.

These aren’t just widgets. They’re functional, conversational AI systems that can answer residents’ questions online or by phone with natural, intelligent responses. Most people wouldn’t know they’re speaking to a bot unless we told them.

From water rates and garbage pickup to permits and boil water notices, our bots handle it all — accurately, instantly, and with a personality that feels local.

Not a Scripted FAQ. A True Conversational AI.

Let’s be clear: most so-called “AI” chatbots on the market today aren’t actually AI. They’re scripted decision trees. Ask a question that isn’t in the flowchart, and you’re either ignored, redirected, or sent into a loop of generic answers.

Our system is different.

It understands natural language. It remembers context. It adapts its answers. You don’t need to phrase your question a certain way — just ask, and the bot handles the rest. And when it’s connected to your systems, it can even look up real-time data to give residents personalized answers.

This isn’t a glorified search bar. It’s a digital employee.

Final Thoughts

If AI can write songs and create convincing images of people who don’t exist, it’s more than ready to help municipalities serve their residents better. At LSPS, we’re putting that power to use where it matters — answering real questions, improving access to information, and freeing up your human staff for more complex work.

Want to see our resident service bot in action?

Let us know. Just don’t be surprised if the first response you get doesn’t come from a human.
